The Takrita is the classical headscarf of Tunisian women. It has nothing to do with veils! It’s tied on the head to work, go out without having to deal with your hair and still look pretty! Tunisian ladies collect these various printed headscarves.
The scarf Takrita has been turned into a cushion cover.
One day, I was having a party and I turned the scarves into cushion covers, to be thrown over the rugs in the garden. Almost all of my guests went home carrying one.
I’ve done it again for this collection, in four colors. They’re so practical. All you need is a standard pillow 63 x 63 cm to fill them up.
Each coming collection will have its brand new cushion, inspired by a classical pattern of the Tunisian Takrita. 
The scarves are made in China and the cushions in Tunisia.
The opening is on the fourth side and it closes with three ties .
